She painted 888 people from diverse socioeconomic groups and ranging in age from infancy to 104 to pose for watercolor portraits that she made using the camera lucida, a device for drawing that dates back to the Renaissance and that promotes a two-way exchange between artist and subject. Also shown at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York (TECO-NY) in NYC, 2012. Noise: Artwork from The Bronx Museum of the Arts and El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes represents the most extensive visual arts exchange between Cuba and the United States in more than 50 years. Each Museum has organized a thematic exhibition of key works from their respective permanent collections. The project also features an exchange between Bronx and Havana teens, an artist residency exchange, and a full roster of Cuban-U.S. themed public programs when Wild Noise is hosted at the Bronx Museum. She worked on a series of guide books/graphic reports of findings based on one of their efforts to reimagine school cafeterias as places of equity, health, and education. The Taste Test Guidebooks were shown at a demo day at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. For the first time in 50 years, the conference was held on September 28, 2022—where the Biden-Harris Administration unveiled a national strategy to end hunger, support child nutrition, and eliminate health disparities.
